A native of Lexington, Tommy Whitwell is community-driven with a heart of gold. As a Realtor he brings enthusiasm and expertise to 731 Village Realtors. He is especially passionate about first-time buyers and provides life-changing value and service.
Known as Lexington High School Big Red’s loudest fan, Tommy is enthusiastic for “shop and eat local”. A 36-year career in retail as manager/owner in TN, NC, WV & KY laid the foundation for his leadership and people first approach to his success in real estate, where relationships’ and community matter most.
Deeply rooted in his community, he is a member of First United Methodist Church, he sings in the choir, serves on committees and volunteers for the food pantry. A dedicated Rotarian and has been honored as Rotarian of the Year, Distinguished Rotarian and Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, and lives by the motto, “Service above Self”.
Tommy’s spirit of giving extends to his longtime involvement with the Miss America Organization, where he’s been recognized as Local Director of the Year and awarded the prestigious Legacy Award for 48 years of service between 4 states.
